For nominated supervisors

The National Law requires that every approved pre-Prep service must have a nominated supervisor. The nominated supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of a pre-Prep, which has been approved under the National Quality Framework.

The nominated supervisor has a range of responsibilities including local oversight of:

  • educational programs
  • supervision and safety of children
  • entry and exit from the premises
  • food and beverages
  • administration of medication
  • prescription and non-prescription drugs
  • sleep and rest
  • excursions
  • staffing.
